Bruce H. Braine is vice president for strategic policy analysis for American Electric Power. This is his personal blog where he shares his perspectives on economics, public policy, investments and a variety of other topics. This blog contains his personal views, not those of his employer or any organizations with which he is affiliated.
Braine has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University, where he graduated from Stanford’s Public Management Program.
Braine serves as vice-chair of EPRI’s Global Climate Change Area Council, vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), as chair of the IETA U.S. working group, on the EEI Strategic Issues Committee and EEI Economics and Public Policy Executive Advisory Committee. He was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Climate Exchange. He is also a former chairman of the pension committee of the United Way in Central Ohio.
